UN World Water Day Campaign -
There are many great tools provided by UN’s Water Campaign available to educate kids and adults about water conversation. I was surprised to see that there are 140 liters of water used to produce 1 cup of coffee. Makes me think - I drink gobs of coffee! I know there are three major ways to process coffee: washed, natural and semi-washed. I’m glad where I source my coffee (using washed method primarily), water reclamation is taken very seriously to maintain the sustainability of the coffee farm’s surrounding environment and communities. -sv
